The Social Hub Carrara - Rome

ROMA

'ROME' reimagines the city’s monumental heritage, transforming classical Roman forms into impossible structures in travertine marble. Commissioned for The Social Hub in Rome, the series fuses the energy of Futurism with the strength of Brutalist architecture, creating a bold, dynamic visual language.

Deliberate imperfections evoke the passage of time, while distorted forms challenge gravity, generating tension between past and future, solidity and movement. Travertine—an emblem of Rome’s architectural legacy—becomes a medium for experimentation, bridging tradition and reinvention. The sculptures invite viewers to experience the city’s history through a radical, visionary lens, where light, shadow, and texture transform classical forms into a contemporary dialogue.
